The new bedroom wing is to a high standard, aircon, coffee, big tv, and tastefully decorated. The restaurant/bar is to a surprisingly high standard. Excellent and just half a mile from belfast International airport.

In general the hotel has good spec, its a well designed on the outside, however the interior is fairly cramped, but maybe that is what they were aiming for! The decor is nice, very modern in the extension and they have managed to maintain a old/romantic/cosy feel to the initial part of the building, although this maybe too cosy for some folk..... The room itself is spotless, and the food is very nice, some comments I read prior to staying indicated food was pricey, I think for the quality you are getting it is indeed worth it!Also the hotel locations is exceptional if you are using Antrim International Airport.
The room we were allocated was ground floor, with a view of a pile of muck, when asked to change we were declined, now it was a personal thing, it felt very claustrophobic and dark. Also we woke up in the morning and there was a large leak from the roof! Probably something harmless from air-con maybe! I did not like the bar situation, there was no where to relax other then main reception or the restaurant area, which was quite cramped in my opinion and you could not have a private conversation without everyone else being involved! The staff were quite attentive overall, some elements of our requests (not major requests, just small things which would have made the stay perfect) were declined, one was the room swap, another was to have our meal at the table in the bar/restaurant we were at, this was declined as it was apparently booked for 8pm, we were moved, and to our dismay the table was still vacant at 2130, after we finished our meal!! These things happen though ;-).
